BIOGRAPHY

Riff Sorce based out of Melrose Park IL, received his first guitar at age 12 from his uncle. Infatuated with 6 and  7 string guitars, he dedicated his life to the instrument while discovering many great guitarists/musicians of the time.  Over the years, Riff has been associated with bands such as  SPRS, Sorce/Marino, Forbidden Domain, Click, Drawdown, and 5 Ft Nothing. Riff's Current band is Stapled Down  one of the the best metal bands in Chicago, and of course his solo band Riff Sorce which is an instrumental group consisting of more technical instrumental guitar oriented compositions. In 2004 he  was invited to play on an all instrumental compilation project with some of the best guitarists in the nation, called Guitars at an Exhibition Volume 2. Riff has also released 7 CD'S from his own label Sorcery Records. Riff is also currently a clinician for Turbotrem Whammy Bar Corporation, and AMT Electronics USA the best pedals on the planet.  Other endorsements include Bernie Rico Jr. Guitars, Spectraflex "The Original Braided Cable", Fastaxe Products and Crave Energy Drink.
